Home remedies for blackheads
Home remedies for blackheads target mostly oily skin since oily skin type is most prone to inflammations, acne, and blackheads. The easiest way to deal with blackheads is to try and loosen up the impurities inside the pores. To do this, you can either prepare a facial steam or use an ingredient that will penetrate the skin and cleanse the pore. In either case, when you start removing the blackheads, be gentle and don’t squeeze too hard.
Parsley blackheads remedy
Parsley is often used as a blackhead remover as it contains huge amount of Vitamin K and Vitamin C. Skin benefits from these natural anti inflammatory agents that help soothe the deeper cell layers. This mask is good if you have acne, too.
Chop parsley and rub into spots that have blackheads. After that, steam your face over a bowl of boiling water. Steaming will open up the pores and help vitamin C and K filled parsley juices penetrate the skin. Using a cotton ball, remove the blackhead.
Cleansing mask
Mix one egg white, 1/2 cup cooked instant oatmeal, a teaspoon olive oil and a few drops of lemon juice until smooth. Spread on your face and neck, leave on for 15 – 30 min then rinse with lukewarm water.
Few drops of lemon juice will help to reduce blackheads while egg white will leave your skin feeling “tight” after this mask application.
